Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026. This policy covers the website www.onlinepython.dev and the Android application "Coding Python: Learn Python Programming" (package app.learnpython.codingpython.pythoncompiler).
Website
The website is static. We do not require accounts and do not collect personal information through forms. If analytics are enabled, we use aggregated, cookie-consent-gated measurement to understand which pages are read; IP addresses are anonymised. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of the request.
Android app
- Your code and projects are stored only on your device in the app's private storage. They are never uploaded.
- Quiz and challenge progress is stored locally.
- No account is required and we do not collect names, emails or contact details from the app.
- Advertising. The free app may display ads served by Google AdMob, which may use the advertising ID to show relevant ads according to Google's policies. You can reset or limit the advertising ID in Android settings.
- Crash reporting and analytics. Anonymous crash reports and usage events (for example, which tab was opened) may be collected to fix bugs and improve the app. These do not include your code.
- Permissions. The app requests no location, contacts, camera or microphone permissions. Internet access is used for ads and anonymous diagnostics; Python programs are executed on the device.
Children
The app and site are suitable for general audiences and do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete; uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. For questions, contact support@codingpython.app.
Changes
We will update this page when the policy changes and revise the date above.
